AlmaGea is a sanctuary that aims to help not only so-classified pets in need such as dogs and cats, but also so-classified “farm animals” that are unfortunately often forgotten in our world. We also want to use our 2.5 hectares of land to plant as many trees as possible and to do this in an as natural way as possible. For example, we are planting a food forest according to the principles of permaculture and regenerative agriculture and would like to be as self-sufficient as possible at some point.
AlmaGea thus combines two of our heartfelt themes –
Giving animals in need a home and at the same time doing our part to give back to nature.
